Charlotte Winston [ Yoga teacher ]
Accredited by the Yoga Alliance as a Hot Yoga instructor, Charlotte’s wealth of experience spans a series of holistic qualifications, to a more general sporting background that commenced with school gymnastics and progressed onto running, tennis and gym work.
Moving from London to Sydney to enjoy sunnier climes for 18 years, Charlotte was kept busy by her triplets whilst also working in the TV production industry. In addition to these roles, Charlotte pursued holistic interests by running her own business as a fully qualified aromatherapist and deep tissue massage therapist, with additional certificates in diet and nutrition. She then headed on to Asia for an 18 month stint in Shanghai before relocating to Bangkok in 2005.
When her children reached the age of ten, their growing independence allowed Charlotte to reconsider her own life goals. Following 20 years of practicing Yoga, a strong desire to develop her individual ability was accompanied by a growing need to pass on her passion, knowledge and expertise to others. In 2007 Charlotte acted on this impulse, successfully completing a Yoga instructor course in Koh Samui. Learning a variety of yoga forms including Vinyasa, Hot Flow and Hatha, Charlotte became an internationally recognized Hot Yoga teacher.
In terms of teaching style, Charlotte’s Hot Yoga classes reward clients by offering clear instruction and plenty of personal attention within a safe, injury free work-out. Beginners are given special attention and encouragement, with Charlotte taking great pride in introducing newcomers to the wonderful world of Yoga. But more than this, Charlotte is keen to highlight that Yoga is for everyone, no matter what your fitness level or age, and that with dedication, the results are truly astounding. |
