One. Store fruits only 2 deep to avoid bruising and rotting.
Two. Tomatoes taste best at 70 degrees but can be cooled for at least 5 days.
Three. To retain flavour, process them into fresh sauce or salsa, which may keep for 7 to 10 days in the fridge.
Four. Slice tomatoes from top to bottom, not through the center, to keep seeds.
